My first experience with the Gtmhub's insight platform

Gtmhub provides a platform to develop custom insights – from the algorithm that crunches the data to the UI (insight widgets we call them). The insight engine is powered by the R language which didn’t mean anything to me until soon. However, I decided to do a test run on our platform to see what could kind of common user do with it.

Apparently, most of us are ready to wear a plastic armband that needs to be charged every few days, so that we can be 100% sure we made 10,000 steps a day. Not 9,754 or, God forbid, 8,943 steps. It has to be 10,000 – because that’s the goal.

The goal of SSF is to help widget developers create beautiful insight widgets without wasting too much time on visualisation. Being based on Twitter’s Bootstrap and following its conventions the SSF can be adopted in minutes.
