Team objectives; individual key results
Gtmhub has supported team OKRs for a long time. Today we are releasing one of the most requested features regarding team OKRs: key result owners.
Let us imagine that you create an objective called “Improve sales efficiency” and assign this objective to the Sales team. There is any number of key results that you may define for this objective, but let’s say you want to reduce sales lifecycle, increase deal size and reduce the number of days it takes to lose a deal.
So far, Gtmhub would automatically assign all of these key results to the owner of the objective, which is Sales team. With the new ability to set the key result owner, teams can now distribute key results among different team members.
As we can see from the screenshot above, we see that John is responsible for reducing sales lifecycle, Beatrice is responsible for increasing deal size and Lukas is responsible for losing deals faster. This way, there is a clear accountability within the team.
How to set key result owner
You can set the owner of the key result when you are creating a new key result.
It is worth noting that you can assign the key result to a team as well. So, for example, you could have a company level objective, with key results owned by sales, marketing, product and so on.
Key result description
One of the smaller improvements on key results, that many people requested was the ability to set key result description. The reason for this was that some of the key results were too long and verbose because there was no way to explain the idea behind the key result in any other way.
